About

I am a storyteller with a background in journalism, public relations, marketing, and fundraising. I spent my college years working as a writer and editor for my university’s newspaper and writing feature stories for local newspapers and magazines.

After receiving my master’s in public relations, I worked at Schneider Associates, an integrated marketing and public relations agency, where I focused on media relations, social media management, and ghost writing for company executives and college presidents. When I transitioned to working in fundraising marketing for Boston College, the persuasive writing skills I learned from pitching the media and writing op-eds served me well.

At BC, I developed and oversaw strategic fundraising marketing campaigns for BC Athletics, BC Law School, and signature events including the Wall Street Council Tribute Dinner.

In my role at Baptist Health, I served as the marketing and public relations lead for Baptist MD Anderson Cancer Center and worked on marketing campaigns to drive awareness of the center in a crowded healthcare marketplace. I also led the marketing efforts for system-wide mammogram, colon and lung cancer screening campaigns.

At the Tom Coughlin Jay Fund, I oversee our organization's communications and marketing efforts as the Director of Communications. I report directly to the CEO and develop annual strategic communications plans that align with the organization's own strategic plan. I lead our small communications team but am also comfortable diving into writing, content creation and social media management--like any nonprofit leader, I am comfortable wearing many hats!

Below are some of the things I enjoy outside of work.
